Detectable underground warning tape is a protective equipment used for underground pipeline positioning, which achieves detectable function through built-in metal wire or aluminum foil layer, and has characteristics such as corrosion resistance and aging resistance. The main functions include:
Warning function: It is installed 30-50 cm above the pipeline and uses bright colors (red/yellow/orange) and warning text (such as "Gas pipeline, no excavation") to alert construction personnel that there is a pipeline below.
Loss prevention and protection: To avoid accidental damage to pipelines during excavation projects, prevent accidents such as gas leaks and cable breakage, and reduce economic losses.
Tracer positioning: solves the problem that non-metallic pipelines (such as PE pipes) cannot be detected by electromagnetic waves, and achieves precise positioning by conducting current pulses through the metal layer.

Metal layer: aluminum foil or stainless steel wire, providing conductivity and detectability, with a resistance requirement of<20 Ω/100m.
Base layer: PE (polyethylene) enhances tensile strength (elongation ≥ 25%) and impact resistance.

The interlayer peel strength is greater than 0.10N/mm, ensuring long-term burial without delamination.
Whole roll forming enhances tear resistance.
